Distribution of Vile Anti-Semitic Pamphlet Being Investigated by British Authorities LONDON (JTA) — The director of public prosecu- tion is considering proceed- ings under the Race Rela- tions Act against the author and publishers of an anti- Semitic pamphlet which ap- peared here recently. The 28-page pamphlet, "Did Six Million Really Die? — The Truth At Last," describes the death of 6,000,000 Jews in Nazi-occupied Europe as "the most colossal piece of fic- tion" and the "most success- ful of deceptions." The pamphlet also claims that the "enormous fraud" was committed with the de- liberate intention of black- mailing the world into ac- cepting the establishment of the State of Israel, and in order to secure financial gain by way of German re- parations. The pamphlet, written un- der a pseudonym, was pub- lished by a so-called "Histor- ical Review Press," and al- though the neo-Fascist "Na- tional Front" has disclaimed all responsibility for it, it bears a close resemblance to the National Front's monthly magazine, "Spear- head." Moreover, R obin Beauclair, a senior NF mem- ber, has been discovered to have been associated with the publication, a fact which he is not denying. Copies of the pamphlet were sent to the director of public prosecution by Paul Rose, MP, and by the Board of Deputies of British Jews. The latter asked that legal, action be taken on the grounds that the pamphlet indicated "an intention to stir up racial hatred" as de- fined in Section 6 of the Race Relations Act. Following the director of public prosecution's reply that no such intention could be proved in this case, the Board has now asked him to consider prosecution on the grounds that a false name and address were used in the Latin, U.S. Jewish Leaders Assess Arab Propaganda in S. America RIO DE JANEIRO (JTA)- The peril of increased Arab propaganda in South America aimed not only against Is- rael, but also against the local Jewish communities, was raised at a meeting of 12 officers of the American Jewish Congress, now visit- ing South America, and- the leaders -of Rio's Jewish com- munity. The delegation headed by Phil Baum, associate execu- tive director of the AJCon- gress, and accompanied by Mark Turko w, secretary general of the Latin Amer- ican section of the WJCon- gress, obtained first-hand in- formation about all important community problems. The first result of the visit here of an Arab trade dele- gation was the announcement that an Arabian-Brazilian bank will be established with an initial capital of 100,000,000 cruzeiros (about $16,000,000). Bankers from Lebanon, Ku- wait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Libya will share one-third of the capital. Meanwhile, Jewish agency chairman Pinhas. The chairman of the Jewish Agency - and World Zionist Organization Executives has since been in bed recovering from the illness. About 200 delegates were present for the opening of the convention, 100 from 40 communities out side of Buenos Aires and 100 from Buenos Aires where two- thirds of Argentine Jewry live. While in South America, Sapir declared that a marked improvement had taken place in the field of absorption fa- cilities in Israel and that all government ministries and Jewish Agency departments were making strenuous ef- forts to further improve the situation. Sapir's statement, issued by his Jerusalem office upon his instructions came in re- action to several recent newspaper articles abroad on difficulties experienced by newcomers here. Sapir stressed specifically the progress being achieved in housing and employment— the two main hurdles. Sev- eral thousand apartments were currently available for olim and another 27,000 were being built. A further 7,500 apartments would soon be available for immigrants to rent, and Ham- idar (the government hous- ing company) and the Hista- drut's housing companies were building rental accom- modation, Sapir said.
