The ranks of the new Syna-
gogue Council of Greater
Detroit increased this week
to 18 congregations with the
enrollment of Cong. Bnai Is-
rael of Pontiac. Rabbi- Leon-
ard H. Berman is spiritual
leader, and Leon Sirlin is
president.
In last week's Jewish
News, the name of Cong.
Beth Achim was inadvertent-
ly omitted from the story
-containing the members of
the new Synagogue Council.
However, . its name did ap-
pear in the advertisement
for the council.
