Americans On Intellectual
Adventure at Bar-Dan
RAMAT GAN, Israel — A
group of students from the
United States and Mexico are
combining their summer visit
to Israel with five weeks
of study at Bar-Ilan Univer-
sity. Those taking part in
this intellectual adventure
range in age from . 17 to 23
and plan to go on to univer-
sity. Some have just finished
high school and others have
been to yeshiva. Half are
studying Hebrew at Bar-
Ilan and others are taking
various college courses which
yield up to six credits in the
United States.

Ann Arbor will hold its
first anual INVITATIONAL
WINTER ART FAIR. honor-
ing its sesquicentennial Nov.
1-3 at the University of Mich-
igan New Field House at
Ferry Field. Two purchase
awards, depicting Ann Arbor,
will be made by Ann Arbor's
Mayor James Stephenson,
Prof. Guy Palazzola and
sesquicentennial events chair-
man, Lila Green. The two
items selected will be
given to the city honoring its
150th birthday. Artists inter-
ested in participating in the
winter art fair may send
slides, resume and a stamp-
ed, self-addressed envelope
