Anti - Semitic Liberty Lobby
Escalates Hate Propaganda

(Continued from Page 1)
ing "This Is Liberty Lobby."
The broadcasts regularly
offer a free copy of 'Ameri-
ca First," described by ADL
as "a blatantly anti-Semitic
pamphlet," as a bonus for
subscriptions to "the equally
anti-Semitic monthly, 'Liber-
ty Letter.' " The July issue
of "Liberty Letter," in a
column and ad on "The
Myth of the Six Million,"
, ribed the book as con-
,:ng "f a c t s" allegedly
proving that Hitler's decima-
tion of the Jewish people dur-
ing the Holocaust "is pure
poppycock."
Goldwater said that in con-
junction with its stepped-up
anti-Jewish literature cam-
paign, Liberty Lobby also
issued a mass "emergency"
appeal which libeled ADL as
being "basically un-Ameri-
can" and urged Liberty
Lobby followers to form com-
mittees to establish new out-
lets for the radio program.
The mailing also offered the
anti-Semitic Williams tract
free to contributors.
The charges contained in
the original ADL report ac-
cused Carto of setting up
Liberty. Lobby as a "front"
for his "seamier operations,"
including Liberty and Prop-
erty, a clearinghouse for
keeping informed on anti-

Semitic activities; "Western
Destiny," a magazine with
racist, Nazi-type articles, and
Noontide Press, publisher of
anti-Semitic, racist and pro-
Nazi books, including "Im-
perium," by the late Nazi
apologist Francis P. Yockey.
The Yockey book contains a
dedication to Adolf Hitler
and a laudatory 35-page in-
troduction by Carto.
The ADL report also
pointed out that "This Is
Liberty Lobby" programs
during and immediately fol-
lowing the Arabs' October
aggression against Israel last
year contained a- daily bar-
rage of anti-Israel or anti-
Jewish attacks. The ADL
survey, which was reported
in newspapers and maga-
zines across the country,
asked whether the manage-
ments and licensees of "This
Is Liberty Lobby" radio out-
lets were "ignorant of the
program's contents or un-
caring about their role in
helping peddle bigotry."
Goldwater said that Liberty
Lobby mailings have in-
spired hate mail and abusive
phone calls to ADL offices.
He declared that "Liberty
Lobby's growing anti-Jewish
campaign only reinforces the
Anti-Defamation League's de-
termination to continue to
expose the group's activi-
ties."

JNF Groves Cite
Priest, Engineer

BEN-SHEMEN — T h
priest, Fritz Kuiper, a friend
of Israel who was instrument-
al in strengthening Dutch-Is-
raeli ties, and killed in an
automobile accident, will be
perpetuated by a 1,000-tree
grove to be planted in his
memory by his wife and
friends at the Jewish Nation-
al Fund Forest at Modi'in,
near Ben-Shemen.
During the Nazi occupation,
Rev. Kuiper belonged to the
Dutch underground and help-
ed save the lives of many
Jews — especially children
who he insisted must be
brought up as Jews and not
be converted..
Another grove of 1,000 trees
was dedicated in the Herzl
Forest here in memory of
Raffaele Narcisso, an Italian
engineer who had worked at
the Abu Rodeis oil fields for
the last four years and was
murdered by Arab terrorists
during the attack on the Pan
Am plane - at Rome airport.
