Land to Be Cleared
JERUSALEM — About 3,-
000 dunams (750 acres) of
agricultural land will be re-
claimed by the Jewish Na-
tional Fund in the northern
Negev settlements during the
present fiscal year.
At the same time IL 3,000-
000 (about $750,000) have
been set aside for land re-
clamation and drainage of
an area of 5,400 dunams in
the Jordan Valley to be car-
ried out by the JNF, includ-
ing 2,450 dunams for or-
chards. Drainage projects
will be implemented on an
area of 700 dunams.
