Cites British Zionist Michael Sacher JERUSALEM (JTA) - Michael Sacher, the British Zionist leader, chair' of the Joint Israel Appi, and a member of the board of directors of the Jewish Tele- graphic Agency, received the Hebrew University's annual Solomon Bublick Prize at a ceremony on the university campus. President Ephraim Katzir also received an honorary doctorate. Sacher's citation hailed him as "worthy scion of a distinguished Anglo-Jewish family, faithful standard bearer of a tradition of ser- vice to the Jewish people, the Zionist ideal and its glorious realization - the State of Is- rael." It also hailed his leadership during the Yom Kippur War. Sacher's father, the late Harry Sacher, lived and worked in Jerusalem during the mandate period and was associated with Hebrew Uni- versity from its inception. An institute for legislative re- search and comparative law was recently opened within the university's law faculty in his name. `European Attitude to Israel Changed' "4 TEL AVIV (JTA)-Pre- -4 mier Yitzhak Rabin on his return from London said he - observed a positive change Aluminum siding trim, gutters, PONTIAC MALL in the European attitude to- -4 roofing, roof repairs, and all ward Israel. general repairs.
