Harold Somlyo, a charter
member of Temple Israel,
was elected president at the
temple's 34th annual congre-
gational meeting. He suc-
ceeds Marshall B. Madison,
who held the office for two
years.
Elected with Somlyo were
Joseph Hacker and Norman
L. Ross, vice presidents;
Mrs. Moe Traurig, secretary;
and Stanley M. Millman,
treasurer.
Mrs. Traurig, a past presi-
dent of the sisterhood, is the
first woman elected to con-
gregational office.
