Sixteen UHS board vacan- cies were filled by nominees on the slate of the UHS board nominating committee. In ad- dition, candidates who were challenging the "official" nominees for office of two vice presidents and secretary were defeated at the board meeting immediately follow- ing the annual election meet- ing.
