Members of the Senior Friendship Club, sponsored by
the Flint Jewish Community- Council, were at Camp Tama-
rack June 13 meeting with other senior citizens from the
Detroit area. They spent the day singing, talking and re-
newing old acquaintances. Transportation was provided by
Mrs. Carl Fisher, Mrs. Bernard Lovitky, Mrs. Marvin
Levey and I. Isaacs.

Community Council's teen
trip to Cedar Point for 7th-
12th graders, which will
leave 6 p.m. Monday from
Cong. Beth Israel.
The cost of the trip will in-
clude transportation and ad-
mission for all rides. Young-
sters are asked to bring a
sack lunch and extra spend-
ing money for food. A parent
permission slip also is re-
quired, but adult supervision
will be provided.
Registration is limited to
40 and should be made by

Trustees Elected
at Temple Beth El

Temple Beth El elected its
board of trustees at its re-
cent annual meeting.
They are: Richard Heitz-
ner, Dr. Evelyn Golden, Ed-
ward Shapiro, 'Leonard Shul-
man and Dr. Carl Schwartz.
Elected to the Beth El Mem-
orial Park board were Dr.
Marshall Cossman and Mar-
vin Levey.
Dr. Milton Panzer, chair-
man of the temple board of
education, announced the ap-
pointment of Golda Shapiro
as administrative head of
the religious school. Mrs.
Shapiro is on the Hebrew
teaching staff of temple and
will assume her duties in the
fall.
