Prof. Howe to Give Haar Memorial Lecture Prof. Irving Howe, noted author, teacher, editor and critic, will be guest lecturer at the annual Moishe Haar Memorial Foundation event sponsored by the Sholem Aleichem Institute 8:30 p.m. May 24 at the Labor Zionist Institute. The Moishe Haar Memorial Foundation honors the mem- ory of Moishe Haar (1898- 1966), Haar was the cultural leader of the Sholem Alei- chem Institute from 1926 to 1966.
