named chairman of the De-
troit Friends of Yeshiva Uni-
versity's 19th annual 'dinner
June 6, at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek, it was announced by
Daniel A. Layen, general
chairman of the Detroit
Friends.
Norman Allan will be pre-
sented with the Yeshiva Uni-
versity Distinguished Service
Award, in a climax to the
Detroit Friends' annual
scholarship campaign.
Jackier, a practicing attor_
ney in Detroit since 1938, is
a member of the board of
governors and executive com-
mittee of the Jewish Welfare
Federation.
