ices to women and children,

MR. AND MRS. DRIKER
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dri-
ker of Faust Ave. were hon-
ored on the occasion of their,
golden wedding anniversary
at a luncheon Sunday at the
Great Lakes Club.
Hosted by their children,
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Driker,
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Dri-
ker and Mr. and Mrs. Irving
Kroll, the guests included
their eight grandchildren,
relatives and close friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Driker have
been active participants in
Detroit Jewish communal
life since their marriage here
50 years ago. They emigrat-
ed from Russia in 1922.
Mr. Driker was president
of Odessa Progressive Aid
Society and during World
War II was chairman of the
Central Committee of the
United Landmanshaft Organ-
izations. He is past president
of Chapter I, Sholem Alei-
chem Institute, where he is
still active, and is a mem-
ber of Louis Marshall Lodge,
Bnai Brith. President of the
Senior Adult Culture Club of
the Jewish Center, he is vice
chairman of the Senior Cit-
izens Council.
Mrs. - Driker joined the
Sholem Aleichem Institute 40
years ago, was active in the
reading group and served as
president of the women's di-
vision. Twenty-five years
ago, she joined Pioneer
Women, where she is a life
member. She was the first
president of Kinneret Chap-
ter. She is an active distribu-
tor to the Writer's Corner of
the Jewish Center, which
'publishes a quarterly, The
Writer's Journal.
