Southfield Civic Center.
Ethnic foods, entertain-
ment and music will be fea-
tured. Musical, dance and
drama groups that, will per-
form include the Jewish Cen-
ter Young Dancers Guild, led
by Harriet Berg.

at the Tel-Twelve Mall or can

Bonstelle to Stage
`The Matchmaker'

Thornton Wilder's farce,
"The Matchmaker," which
was unavailable for produc-
tion for several years during
its run as "Hello Dolly,"
opens at the Bonstelle Thea-
ter April 26 for a two week-
end run.
"The Matchmaker" was
rewritten from Wilder's "The
Merchant of Yonkers," which
was first produced in 1938
under the direction of Max
Reinhardt.
Moliere's neoclassic com-
edy masterpiece, "Tartuffe,"
in Richard Wilbur's prize-
winning English translation,
officially opens May 2 at
8:30 at the Hilberry Thea-
ter. It is the last production
to join the repertory this sea-
son.

president at the annual meet-
ing of the Southfield Arts
Council.

quintet of the Detroit Com-
munity Music School has ap-
peared in many concerts
here.
The program, including Di-
vertimento Number 1 in B
Flat by Haydn, Quintet, Opus
43 by Carl Nielsen, and Sex-
tet for' Piano and Winds,
Opus 39 by Edward Burlin-
game Hill, is one of a series
of concerts presented each
