Physician Elected Chief of Two Hospitals

Dr. Milton K. Miller has
been elected chairman of the
executive committee of the
Detroit Osteopathic and Bi-
County Community hospitals.
He served three years as
chairman of the department
of surgery at both hospitals
and was reappointed associ-
ate chairman for 1974.
Born in New Jersey, Dr.
Miller earned his DO degree

at Kirksville College of Osteo-
pathy and Surgery in 1952.
He has maintained a gen-
eral. surgical practice in De-
troit since 1957 and has held
posts on the staffs of Detroit
Osteopathic Bi-County Com-
munity, Martin Place and
Pontiac Osteopathic hos-
pitals. Since 1972 he has been
a clinical professor of sur-
gery at the Michigan State

University College of Osteo-
pathic Medicine.
He has published papers
on gastric and obstetrical-
gynecological disorders.
Dr. Miller is on the board
of directors of the Jewish
Family and Children's Serv-
ice and is a member of the
Allied Jewish Campaign-Is-
rael Emergency Fund's pro-
fessional division.

1 lb. fresh spinach
4 cup dry white wine
About 1 hour before serving,
heat oven to 350 0 . In a large
skillet, saute onions in oil until
soft. Add garlic, tomatoes, pars-
ley, dill, 14 teaspoon salt and the
pepper. Cook 10 minutes. Sprin-
kle fish lightly with salt and
lemon juice. Arrange tomato
mixture in 9x12x2-inch baking
dish. Lay the fish on top and
arrange the spinach around it.
Pour wine over all; cover with
foil and bake 30 minutes. Then
uncover and continue baking 15
minutes longer. YIELD: 4-6 serv-
ings.

gelatin

4 cup sugar
2 cups boiling water
PA cups cold water
1 pint strawberries, halved
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese,
softened
1 tsp. vanilla
Dissolve gelatin and sugar in
boiling water. Add cold water.
Chill 2V, cups until thickened.
Add strawberries and pour into
a 6-cup ring mold. Chill until set,
but not firm. Beat cream cheese
until smooth; gradually add re-
maining gelatin and vanilla; blend
well. Spoon into mold. Chill until
firm-3 hours. Unmold. Makes
about 6 cups or 10 to 12 servings.
