Hadassah Helps Fund
Tree-Planting Project

BEERSHEBA — In three
Negev development towns,
Shderot, Netivot and Ofakim,
123,000 trees are being plant-
ed by Jewish National Fund
with the financial help of
Hadassah.
The project will provide
residents with shade and
fresh air. The planting of
trees around residential areas
also will serve as a barrier
against storms and form a
divider between industrial
and residential areas.
Hadassah plans to raise
$2,700,000 in three years to
cover the costs of the project.
