She leaves her husband, Louis; two sons, Alan and Paul; a daughter, Nita of California; and a brother, ' Tnbenstein. Gerald M. Franklin, an at- torney who was shot to death behind his law office on De- troit's northwest side, died March 1 at age 43. Born in Worcester, Mass., Mr. Franklin lived 18 years in Detroit. His law office is located at 17031 W. Seven Mile. He was graduated from Boston University and from its law school in 1953. He was a member of the Michigan and Massachusetts bar associations and the Wayne County Bar Associa- tion.
