Benjamin Adler, 84

NEW YORK — Benjamin
Adler, who was known as an
expert in determining fluctu-
ating raw fiber prices as a
cotton broker, died Monday.
He was 84. He also was ac-
tive in the show business
and backed the production of
"Fiddler on the Roof." He
was in Japan in behalf of
stockholders for the showing
of "Fiddler."

week at age 74. She was the
