F e r die, national com- mander of the Jewish War Veterans, urged Congress to restore cuts in pension checks to widows of veterans, re- cently made by the Veterans Administration. The cuts, and in some cases, a complete loss of pen- sions, resulted from a pro- vision in the VA laws which relates pension payments to in c o me fro m additional sources including Social Se- curity benefits.
