The new district, a result of the 1 9 7 2 reapportionment which gave the State Senate districts new boundaries, in- cludes Rochester, Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, Troy and West Bloomfield. Israel's Disadvantaged Youth Create Fashions to Be Shown by Pioneer Women The Greater Detroit Coun- cil of Pioneer Women will hold its annual membership luncheon and fashion show noon Thursday at the Labor Zionist Institute. Paul Winter, WJR music- talk show host, will act as commentator in the presenta- tion of Israeli originals from a purple suede pant suit and an appliqued and pearl em- broidered crepe wedding gown to a printed wool day- time dress with matching cape and a garnet velvet skating outfit. All of the fashions have been designed by students of couture art, who have been given the opportunity to de- velop their talents through Pioneer Women social serv- ices. The students repre- sented in this show are drawn from the less advantaged segment of society — one from Morroco, another from the Soviet Union and still an- other from the Frank Sinatra Community Center in Naza- reth, exclusively for Arab students.
