was announced by Harold
M. Jacobs, president of the
Union of Orthodox Jewish
Congregations of America.
The goals of the new pro-
gram are to promote Jewish
identity on campus through
first-hand Jewish experiences
and Torah study.
Rabbi Daniel Stolpe r,
brother of NCY's national
director, Rabbi Pinchas Stol-
per, will direct the Collegiate
Youth for Torah.

Bnei Akiva Sends
Volunteers to Israel

Two hundred young volun-
teers of the Bnei Akiva Zion-
ist Youth Movement are in
Israel to assist the young
kibutzim.
Many of the volunteers
have already spent a year in
Israel at the Bnei Akiva
Scholarship Institute pro-
gram which included train-
ing in various kibutz agri-
cultural branches.
This group includes Ye-
shiva University and Stern
College students who will at-
tendaccredited courses at
Bar-Ilan University in Tel
Tel Aviv.
