a volleyball game following
the Lahav business meeting

Jewish culture, taken in the
easy doses of singing, danc-
ing and discussion, but ac-
companied by social action
as well, is the focus of Ha-
bonim, Zionist youth move-
ment.
Habonim ("The Builders"),
holds weekly Friday night
meetings at the Labor Zion-
ist Institute for students in
grades 9-12. Activity includes
an oneg Shabat program, Is-
raeli singing and dancing and
the "kupa" (fund) collection,
a ritual by which members
are encouraged to "give what
you can, and take what you
need." The meeting usually

for Habonim Camp

Habonim Camp Tavor is
accepting registration for the
1974 camping season for boys
and girls age 10-16. Located
in Three Rivers, it is one
of the many Habonim camps
throughout the country.
Camp Tavor offers sports,
swimming, hikes, arts and
crafts, work projects, folk
singing and dancing, discus-
sion groups and informal He-
brew classes. Activities are
led by Habonim-trained coun-
selors.
The camp is an approved
member of the Michigan
Camping Association. A slide
presentation on the camp is
available to interested
