Singles Slump is about to
meet its end.
What is Singles Slump?
It's a disease affecting the
young adult, age 18-30 who is
tired of the same old singles
bars with their loud blaring
bands, long lines and the
meat market atmosphere
where everyone is trying to
"pick up" everyone else.
For relief of this dread
disease, follow any one of the
succeeding prescriptions.
Dosage is: one suggestion per
week for the next few weeks,
or until the list runs out.
Check the newspapers.
They get at first-hand all in-
formation on concerts, ex-
hibits, plays, dances, special
events and happenings. For
a more limited scope with the
young adult in mind, call
radio station WRIF, 354-
WRIF • (that's the number)
for information on what's
happening.
If these don't bring any
temporary relief, try a func-
tion organized by one of the
many Jewish singles organ-
izations.
Menora Singles, a group
for young adults age 18-30,

the first Sunday of each
month at Alvaro's Restau-
rant, 1824 W. 14 Mile, Royal
Oak. Admission is $2.75, top

live band, and there are re-
freshments.
Bnai Moshe Singles, age
21-35, has functions twice a
month. Activities are held at
the synagogue, in homes and
