Brooklyn College Alters Credit Policy NEW YORK (JTA) — Brooklyn College, which has been accused of refusing transfer credits to yeshiva and seminary students, an- nounced a new examination of college policy on approval of such credits toward a col- lege degree. The announcement followed a charge by Rabbi Bernard Weinberger, president of Jewish Orthodox Youth (JOY), that Brooklyn College had shown "willful disregard of the policies of the City University of New York and callous neglect of the educa- tional needs of Orthodox Jews." She also was a mem- ber of the Michigan State Vocal Association Honors Choir and the Michigan State Fair Honors Choir. She is a graduate of Temple Israel High School and now teaches in the re- ligious school at Cong. Bnai Yeshurun in Short Hills, N.
