Delta Cited for Boosting Israel •
Firm Pledges to Work
for Equal Opportunity
PHILADELPHIA — Acme
Markets, Inc., and the Phila-
delphia Chapter of the Amer-
ican Jewis Committee an-
nounced jointly they would
work together to broaden the
involvement of Jews and
other ethnic groups in man-
agerial positions in the com-
pany.
Acme said that it has had
a long-standing policy of pro-
viding equal opportunity, but
to help resolve any misun-
derstandings, "we are de-
veloping a positive program
in cooperation with the
American Jewish Committee
to emphasize the equal op-
portunities at Acme Markets

Police Seek Two
in Arms Transport
BRUSSELS (JTA) — Bel-
gian police were searching
for two men believed to be
armed with portable rockets
and traveling in a stolen car
carrying false Belgian license
plates, police spokesman
said.
It is not known if the men
are carrying a Soviet-made
SAM-7 missile.
Recent press reports here
said the police have been
looking for several SAM-7
missiles believed to have
been brought into Belgium
recently.
Other reports indicate the
government has confirmed,
that some Western-made
ground-to-air missiles have
disappeared from a military
depot "somewhere in
Europe."
Police describe one of the
men as a tall, blond "Euro-
pean type," and the other, a
small "Arabic type" with
black hair.
