Association)
All of us remember Grand-
ma's soup pot and the steam-
ing wonders it produced. The
"American Heart Association
Cookbook" says, "There is
no limit to invention when
you become your own soup
chef, whether you have five
minutes or five hours." Vir-
tually a one-dish meal, this
hearty soup needs only a
salad and some crusty bread
or a boiled potato.
2 lbs. boneless chuck, cut into
bite-size chunks.

cover, and simmer for 3 hours,
checking to see that soup does
not boil. Taste for seasoning.
Serve hot in soup bowls. Boiled
potato is a good accompaniment.
