Zionist Federation Designates Aliya Month, Feb. 10-March 10 NEW YORK (JTA)—Fol- lowing the issuance of a call for aliya by the World Zionist Organization, the American Zionist Federation has designated Feb. 10- March 10 as Aliya Month in the United States, it was an- nounced by Rabbi Israel Miller, AZF president. The call for aliya, issued by the AZF was endorsed by Golda Meir in a letter sta- ting: "Aliya is our lifeblood. Confident in our own stand, convinced of our inherent ability to overcome all diffi- culties, believing in the Jew- ish people, I call upon you: Come to Israel and build the land." Rabbi Miller said that the AZF's 13 national member- ship organizations, and its affiliated Zionist Federations will conduct an active cam- paign for aliya by Americans in cooperation with the WZO- American Section, the 17 of- fices of the Israel Aliya Cen- ter throughout the U.S. and the Association of Americans and Canadians for Aliya. The official launching of the campaign will be in New York Feb. 10 at the Del- monico Hotel.
