The membership will pay tribute to Mrs. Louis (Char- lotte) Warshaw, who is re- tiring after 16 years as Beth Shalom office manager and bookkeeper. She came to the synagogue when there were barely 200 member families. The failure to -pub- lish this list until now was caused by. Syrian refusal to reveal the number and the names of those she has cap- tured. The fate of 170 Israeli sol- diers is still unknown, and the identity of 50 soldiers has not yet been established.
