celebrated on the West Coast
with a memorial by -the Vien-
nese Culture Club and a per-
formance of Goethe's "Faust
I" at UCLA.
One of Reinhardt's most fa-
mous actors and stage direc-
tors who lives here and is
past 80 is the ever-young
Ernst Matray, who appeared
in "Sumurun" of 1910 and
made two motion pictures
for Reinhardt in 1912 and
1913.
