Dr. Roman 'Vishniac, whose
series of photographs of East
European Jewish communi-
ties provided a picture of the
vitality of Jewish life prior
to the Holocaust, will deliver
an illustrated lecture at Adat
Shalom Synagogue, 8:30 p.m.
Saturday.
Physician, biologist, art
specialist and photographer,
Vishniac has spent a large
part of his over 70 years
escaping political and human
tragedies — and learning to
record them.
His talk, "Portrait of a
Lost People," will be illus-
trated with photographs from
the East European series.
This first Morris E. Bloom-
berg Judaica Lecture is made
possible by a fund endowed
by the Bloomberg family in
honor of Morris E. Bloom-
berg's 60th birthday. -
A champagne reception
will follow. The public is
invited at no charge.

trators leading toward a
master of business adminis-
tration (MBA) degree has
been started by the National
Association of Hebrew Day
School Administrators.
The program is given in

conjunction with the New
York Institute of Technology,
a business college accredited
by the Middle States Associ-
ation.
The initial class of 35 in-
cludes a number of young
people with bachelors de-
grees and an intensive He-
brew day school background.
