The Student Struggle for Soviet Jewry has warned that
Dina Beilina, left, and Tamara Galperina ,right, shown
with family, both Moscow Jewish activists, are the objects
of a "conspiracy" trial the Kremlin is now forming to
test how Western public opinion will react when atten-
tion is focused on the Mideast.

want to return to the Soviet
Union, occupied the Soviet
consulate here and jostled
the Soviet charge d'affaires,
witnesses said.

One demonstrator said he
was returning because he
went to Israel "in hope of a
better life but it turned out I
fell victim to Zionist propa-
ganda. Now I want to go
back but they (the Soviets)
won't give me a re-entry
visa."

Nearly 400 immigrants are
stranded in Vienna awaiting
re-entry into the Soviet Union
after emigrating to Israel.
Many of them are crammed
four or five to a room in a
Vienna -tenement.

Since the beginning of this
year the Soviets have
granted only 35 re-entry
visas.

NEW YORK — A group of
leading Roman Catholic. An-
glican and Protestant clergy
and lay leaders are on a
study tour of Israel — one
of the first to visit the Jew-
ish state since the cease fire
in the Middle East — under
the guidance of the Rev.
Charles Angell, director of
the Graymoor Christian Unity
Center, conducted by the
Atonement Friars.

This is the second annual
tour of Israel sponsored by
the Graymoor Ecumenical
Institute and coordinated by
the American Jewish Com-
mittee through its Christian
Visitors to Israel Program.

The AJC's Christian VIP
Tours offers special assist-
ance to Christian clergy and
laymen, professional groups
and individuals, who want to
see more of Israel than is
generally included in tradi-
tional "Holy Land" tours.
Father Angell described
the tour as "an attempt to
encourage reconciliation in
an area of conflict."
"While we recognize that
people of the Middle East
must find their own answers
to their problems," he de-
clared, "Christians of good
will from other parts of the
world can help by demon-
strating their commitment to
justice for all concerned. We
want to say to Jewish Is-
raelis that we stand with
them in their struggle for
survival, and to Arabs,
whether Christian or Mos-
lem, that we believe there
can be a creative solution to
the conflict of the last quar-
ter of a century."

is for the man
who wants a
nationally-
advertised
$135 suit
for $80...

or a '65 sport coat for $40...or a
$35 pair of slacks for $22. Get
the idea? Walker's is for the man
who wants nationally-branded
clothes but still wants to save 40%

Does that mean that Walker's sells all suits for $80?
All sport coats for $40? All slacks for $22? Of course
not! These are only examples. Walker's selection is
huge and it covers a wide price range (higher and
lower). But, regardless of the price you pay, you still
save a full 40%.
Doesn't that make Walker's just another discount
clothier? No, it doesn't. Whereas discount clothiers sell
unknown brands at low prices, Walker's sells nothing
but the finest nationally-advertised clothing in up -to-
the-minute styles .. . at smallest possible wholesale
type markups.
How does Walker's do it? In the only way it can be
done . . . by keeping operating costs
down. Walker's does not make altera-
tions and does not deliver. Walker's ac-
cepts no credit and honors no credit
cards. All nonessential services have
been eliminated.

Walker's calls it "the new way to
buy men's clothing". . . and you
should look into it. Remember,
you are not asked to sacrifice
quality for price. You get both!
At Walker's you'll see the
identical brands sold by
better men's stores. True . .
some of the labels are removed
and you pay cash . . .
but it's worth it when you —
