Real Kandel

Through a print shop error,
the photograph carrying the
name of Alan Kandel in last
week's Jewish News was, in
fact, of Irving Bernstein.
Kandel, shown here, is the
director of social planning
of the Detroit Jewish Wel-
fare Federation. He was
honored as a quarter-century
member of the Association
of Jewish Community Organ-
izations Personnel, at the
general assembly of the
Council of Jewish Federa-
tions and Welfare Funds in
New Orleans.
