With 'Heart Disease'

"The Killers," a series on
the major causes of more
than 2,000,000 American
deaths each year, will
premiere 8 p.m. Monday on
WTVS (Channel 56).
The first program of the
five-part series will focus on
"Heart Disease." Made pos-
sible by a $675,000 grant
from the Bristol-Myers Co.,
the program will feature
national leading experts in
the health and medical fields
who will serve as con-
sultants. Causes and treat-
ment of heart disease will be
discussed.
A 90-minute, local follow-
up program, "The Heart of
Detroit" will feature a panel
of local personalities and
doctors.
Future programs include
Genetics," Dec. 17; "Pul-
monary Disease," Jan. 14;
"Trauma," Feb. 11; and
`Cancer," March 11.
