Board in Traverse City Temple

Dr. Paper, professor of
Near Eastern languages at
the University of Michigan,
received his PhD degree from
the University of Chicago and
is a specialist on Judeo-Per-
sian literature and on "mame
loshen" — (mother tongue —
Yiddish). He will discuss the
phenomenon of Jewish lan-
guages in general with em-
phasis on Yiddish.
Other guest speakers in-
clude Muni Mark, Mordehai
Teiler, Edwin Shiffrin and
Wolf Snyder. Talks will be

cited in Yiddish and English.
