tor of the women's division
and served as its program
director. She has helped the
AJCongress conceive and in-

tunities to visit Jewish com-
munities abroad.
The meeting is open to the
general public.

Jewish National Fund
President Charles Milan an-
nounced the Blue-Box Day
Brunch set for 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday at Cong. Bnai
Moshe will be the means of
"rallying members and
friends to the plight of our
brothers and sisters in Is-
rael."
"We have had hundreds of
inquiries as to how best aid
the Israeli homeland in its
hour of need, and this brunch
affords a central location for
the collection of funds," he
said. "We expect all people
with filled Blue-Boxes to
bring them in so the monies
may be dispatched to Israel
for use during the emer-
gency."
Sherman Shapiro, chair-
man of the Blue-Box com-
mittee, said the brunch also
will set a goal of placing
more boxes in homes.
The affair will feature
Mrs. Isadore (Buddy) Gold-
zimer as guest speaker.
Tamara Levit will entertain
with folk songs and a read-
ing of poetry. There also will
be awards and prizes. Mes-
dames Gerald Rogers and
Frank Silverman are co-
chairmen of the day.
Admission is by bringing
in the Blue-Box for clear-
ance, producing a receipt for
a current clearance, or a
minimum donation of $2.50
and acceptance of a new
Blue-Box.
