shot seven times by gunmen
on Indiana and Six Mile . . .
He is in Mt. Carmel Hospi-
tal, where 64 pints of blood
have already been adminis-
tered to him . . . Michael
and his wife Dena live in
Oak Park with their two
young children . . . His wid-
owed mother, Mrs. Anna-
belle Miller, lives in Livonia
. . . The gunmen pumped
two holes in his heart and
the rest about the face, chest
and other parts of his body
. . . Michael's heart stopped
beating twice and he has had
a . kidney failure . .. but the
Mt. Carmel folks have been
pulling him through so far
. . . The need for blood
is very desperate for Michael
