Time Bomb Found on Natanya Beach TEL AVIV (JTA) — Fif- teen suspects were detained for questioning after a home- made time bomb was found on the crowded beach at Na- tan y a. The suspects are all be- lieved to be Arabs visiting from the administered terri- tories. Police were called when someone spotted a sus- picious-looking c o n t a i n e r among the beach chairs. It was found to contain ex- plosives, a timing device, in- cendiary matchheads and nails which could have caused casualties over a fairly wide area had the device exploded. The 15 suspects were de- tained after police cordoned off the beach and conducted an identity check. Gen. David Elazar, Israel's chief of staff, warned that Israel will continue to strike at terrorists anywhere in the world, including pre-emptive strikes. "As long as the terrorist organizations persist in their declarations of war against us and in their threats to strike at Jews all over the world, they should know that we too will strike at them all over the world," he said in a radio broadcast. Elazar spoke as Israel lodged a complaint with the RY THO ,Fine Clothes For Over 36 Yearc United Nations Security Council charging Syria with '24750 TELEGRAPH' At 10 Mile Next to Dunkin' Donuts full responsibility for the air Open Daily to 6, Thursday to 8 battle in which Israeli fight- SUNDAY 11 to 4 ers shot down 13 Syrian MIG- 21s to the loss of one Israeli Classifieds Get Quick Results Mirage. , c-PROFE SSIONA at Soatbdowps Robert Dueease USPTA/USLTA invites you to visit our beautiful 8 court indoor air conditioned Tennis Club Activities This Fall Includes Afternoon and Evening Kol Deplores Lack of Full Rights for Non-Orthodox in Israel TENNIS CLIN,_ _,S 6 'Week Sessions NEW YORK (JTA) — An ments in Israel which must Israeli c a b i n e t minister, be allowed full expression," speaking here Sunday, de- Kol said the bridge between plored the fact that non- Israel and the Diaspora can- Orthodox rabbis and their not be based only on politi- congregants in Israel are de- cal and economic interests nied the full religious rights "but must be one of spirit- that are their due under Is- ual, cultural and religious in- rael's Declaration of Inde- terest as well." pendence.
