Stag Day Program Announced
by DSG President Grossman

All 'members of the Detroit
Service Group have been in-
vited by DSG President
Lewis S. Grossman to the
annual Stag Day, set for
Wednesday, at Tam O'Shan-
ter Country Club.
Grossman said that reser-
vations for the buffet lunch
and the evening's dinner
meeting are still available.
He asked that DSG members
make their reservations by

at the Federation office, WO

Dr. Stan Skupsky and his new bride, the former
Pnina Lando of Jerusalem, will make their home in Ann
Arbor where Dr. Skupsky will continue his research. Dr.
Skupsky spent two years doing post-doctoral work at the
Weizmann Institute, where he met his wife, who holds a
masters degree in computer science. A graduate of Wayne
State University, Dr. Skupsky earned his PhD in nuclear
physics at the University of Chicago, is a graduate of Mi-
drasha, taught at Temple Israel and was a youth adviser
to the Cong. Beth Moses chapter of United Synagogue
Youth. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Skupsky of Moritz
Ave., Oak Park. His wife is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Ephraim Lando of Jerusalem.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Miller, former Detroiters of Holly-
wood, Fla., will be honored by family and friends at a
dinner party at Young Israel of Oak-Woods on the occasion
of their 50th wedding anniversary. The party is being given
by their children, Leonard and Edward Miller and Rheda
Kellso, all of Detroit, and Shirley Haller of Texas and
Rabbi Clifford Miller of Pennsylvania. The senior Millers,
who have 14 grandchildren, will renew their vows at a
ceremony performed by Rabbi Miller.
Rochelle Simone, Jewish Parents Institute educational
director, has been invited to a special three-week seminar
in Israel on behalf of the Jewish Center. The seminar is
sponsored by the National Jewish Welfare Board and is
specifically designed for fulltime professional staff mem-
bers of American Jewish community centers. She will
participate in discussions and workshops aimed at enrich-
ing Israeli programing at the Center.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mutnick of Weyher Ave., Livonia,
will be honored by family and friends at a backyard tent
party Sept. 15 on the occasion of their 25th wedding anni-
versary. The party will be given by their children.
