Mr. and Mrs. Henry Feldman of Majestic Ave., Oak
Park, were honored by family and friends at a dinner party
at the Raleigh House on the occasion of their 60th wedding
anniversary. Mr. Feldman, a native Detroiter, and his Lith-
uanian-born wife were married in Detroit, and founded
Livernois-Davison Florists in 1935. The Feldmans have two
daughters, Mrs. Blanche Haas and Mrs. Rhoda Shuman;
two sons, Irvin and Dr. Robert; eight grndchildren and 12
greatgrandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. A. Arthur Lechner of Appleton Ave. were
honored recently at a dinner party on the occasion of their
50th wedding anniversary at the Huntington Town House
in Long Island, N.Y. The party was given by their children,
Dr. and Mrs. Monroe Lechner and Dr. and Mrs. Jerome
Lechner, all of Detroit. The senior Lechners have nine
grandchildren.
Dennis Rice, executive director for the Metropolitan
Detroit Bnai Brith Council, is in Israel for a special Bnai
Brith young leadership seminar designed "to explore the
lessons Israel's social and religious development hold for the
American Jewish community." He is a member of Albert
D. Tucker Lodge.
Gayle Grossman and Gary Granat were honored recently
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Morton Granat of Murray
Hill Ave. on the occasion of their engagement.
