A dinner at 6 p.m. will precede the seminars. Harold Jaffa, council pre- sident, named David Bitt- ker, vice president, as chair- man. At the University of Mich- igan, Dr. Haber served as chairman of the department of economics and as dean of the college of literature, science and the arts and is now special adviser to the executive officers of the uni- versity. Dr. Haber organized and directed the National Re- fugee Service and served as special adviser on Jewish affairs to Gen. Lucius Clay, the American commander- in-chief in Germany, and is a leader in the Joint Distrib- ution Committee and in the American Jewish Committee. The annual seminar-work- shops are conferences for the Bnai Brith leadership and are designed to indoctrinate lodge officers and committee chairmen with their respon- sibilities and objectives and to plan Bnai Brith com- mittee programs for the coming year.
