Run, Hit, Pitch Finals
The national run-hit-and-
pitch contest for Little League
baseball players is being kept
alive by the Detroit Depart-
ment of Parks and Recrea-
tion, who will hold finals at
the Detroit Firemen's Field
Day Sunday at Tiger Stadium.
Tickets are available from
any Detroit fireman or fire
station.
Radio star Deano Day will
be the master of ceremonies
at the 51st annual Firemen's
Field day.
In addition to fire evolu-
tion demonstrations by mem-
bers of the fire department
thrill team, the double can-
non firing act by the Zac-
chinis will perform. The show
starts at 2.
