What is a Clambake
at The Lobster Trap?

• A Lobster Trap Clambake is buckets of chowder...
pails of clams and mussels.. platters of lobster. corn...and redskins.

A Lobster Trap Clambake brings the best of "down east"

family eating in a cool, salty setting at less than backyard prices.

A Chuck Muer Clambake is a "school" where

our master ctambakers provide you with skills that qualify you
for a "Certified Clambaker" degree.
You will receive a handsome card to verify your education.

shows, electric lights to stag-
ger the most vivid imagina-
tions and very late hours .. .
Let it be known though, that
many of the guys 'n gals who
work in Las Vegas live very
normal lives . . . rush home
are proud of their town . . .
As one Vegas-ite puts it, "In
Detroit, for example, work-
ing at General Motors or
Ford does not mean staying
there all day and night.
Working in the casinos is a
job, just like anything else."

EX-DETROITER STU SE-
GAL, whose quick rise since
leaving the Motor City has
been meteoric, is very active
in the men's club of Temple
Beth Sholom here . . . Could
not recognize him at first
with the very stylish hair
piece . . . Stu had bossed the
Alamo from 1956 to 1964 and
Hello Dolly, 1964 to 1970 .. .
He came to work in Las
Vegas in November 1971,
dealing 21 at the Carousel
downtown . . . A month later,
he was dealing at Caesar's
Palace on the strip . . . and
in March 1973 Stu became a
pit boss executive overseeing
other dealers at the beautiful
Tropicana . . . which in Oc-
tober has ground-breaking
plans for what in 1975 will
make it the biggest hotel
complex in the world . . .
featuring dog races, a bridge
across Tropicana Avenue
from the present hotel to one
being built as Tropicana
West . .. with moving stairs,
shopping mall, etc.
THE TROPICANA OF TO-
DAY, opened in 1957, at one
time was a very exclusive
spot where folks were leery
about staying because of its
"millionaires" stigma . . .
During the past years, it has
appealed to the masses . . .
and created somewhat of a
surprise element with its
homey atmosphere . . . and
far from ultra-sophistication,
as mistakenly thought . . .
Golf bags are many because
of the beautiful Tropicana
Golf Course . . .the restau-
raunt, coffee shop and gor-
met room abound with
warmth . . . The Follies Ber-
gere is in the theather, and
the no-minimum, no-cover
Casino Lounge is always
alive with pleasant entertain-
ment from 4 p.m. to 5 a.m.
. . . It is owned by Neil Gust-
ofson, a self-made million-
aire who is well on his way
to becoming the biggest ty-
coon in Las Vegas . . . The
very-much-awaited Super
Star Theater will be open in
October . . with 1,000 seats
. . . and rumor has it that
among thase already signed
are Sammy Davis Jr., Shec-
kie Greene, Carroll O'Conner
(TV's Archie Bunker) and
Richard Harris . . . No food
will be served in the Super
Star Theater.

LAS VEGAS . . . When
tourists think of Las Vegas,
their minds naturally wend
toward big lights, gambling,
great shows and all-round
short-time fun . . . But the
