Israel Absolved of All Guilt
ill Filming of 'Jesus Superstar'

JERUSALEM, (JTA) —
Neither explicit nor implicit
approval has been given to
the movie "Jesus Christ
Superstar" by Israel govern-
ment authorities, says Arnold
Forster, general counsel of
Bnai Brith's Anti-Defamation
League.
The movie, shot on loca-
tion in Israel, is anti-Semitic
and will have a harmful and
adverse effect on Christian-

"CITIZENS
BEWARE"

Are you aware that the mayor and council of

The City of Oak Park are considering an Ordi-

nance to take away your rights of utilizing a

display sign on your own property to assist you

in selling your home if you desire not to hire a

Real Estate Broker and pay a commission?

I Shirley Cash, realtor am wondering whose

interest does the mayor and council have in

mind, or at stake? The Realtors, or the Public?

Even though the passage of an Ordinance pro-

hibiting for sale signs on your own property

would enhance my business by forcing you,

more or less, to go to a broker and pay a

commission, I feel every property owner should

have the right to advertise the sale of their

Jewish relations, according
to many Jewish organizations
concerned with anti-Semi-
tism.

Norman Jewison, producer-
director of "Superstar," is
"hiding the fact that because
the movie was shot on loca-
tion in Israel it can't be anti-
Semitic," claims Forster.
After conducting exhaustive
inquiries in Israel govern.
ment circles, Forster said he
concluded "that the Israel
government was not involved
in the preparation of the
script or in the making of
the movie and there is no
censorship in Israel over mo-
tion picture production."

Faisal: Zionism
Beltind Watergate
and British. Scandal

JERUSALEM—The Beirut
newspaper Al Anwar quoted
Saudi Arabia's King Faisal
as telling Arab ambassadors
in Geneva that Zionism was
responsible for recent gov-
ernmental sex and espionage
scandals in the United States
and Great Britain.
According to the news-
paper, Faisal said: "Arabs
should work hard to win
America to their side, be-
cause a partial change has
appeared in America's policy
and it is in the Arabs' favor.
That is why Zionism attacks
President Nixon by means
of the Watergate scingal.
Zionism is also behind the
so-called scandals in Britain
which were dug up because
the British government is
contributing effectively to the
search for a solution of the
Middle East crisis by means
of proposals that disagree
with Israel's wishes."

In New York, the Palestine
Arab delegation is alleging
that the "Zionist-Jew leaders
in the United States" are
using the Watergate scandal
to blackmail President Nixon
into suporting Israel.

A six-page statement elab-
orating the charge and warn-
ing Americans that Jews are
trying to "railroad" the
U. S. "into a third world
war in the Middle East" has
been in circulation within
and outside the United Na-
tions since May 14.
The Jewish Telegraphic
Agency obtained a copy of
the statement which is sign-
ed by Issa Nakleh, chairman
of the Palestine Arab dele-
gation, "Permanent Repre-
sentative of the Arab Higher
Committee for Palestine,"
headquartered in Beirut. The
group is registered with the
U. S. Department of Justice
as a foreign agent.

Its statement claims that
"The objective of 'Israel'
and the Zionist-Jew leader-
ship is to dictate to the
President the Middle East
policy of the United States"

It alleges that to further
that objective a "vicious and
libelous campaign by the
Zionist-Jew controlled press,
television and radio networks
carried on against the Presi-
dent of the United States and
his administration over the
so-called Watergate `scandal'
is an attempt to break the
will of the President and to
force him to submit to the
dictate of 'Israel' and the
Zionist-Jew leaders."
