Youth will leave Monday for
Eastern Europe, where they
will observe the Jewish com-
munities of Russia, Hungary,
Czechoslovakia, Poland and
Romania.
The trio — Robert L.
Schwartz, 15, James Krans,
17, and Richard Margolin,
16 — are among 38 USY'ers
from across the nation and
Canada who are partici-
pating in the pilgrimage.
They are scheduled to meet
with Nazi hunter Simon
Wiesenthal in Vienna before
continuing on to Eastern
Europe. They also will visit
Israel and Greece.
Richard's brother Steve
was on the USY East Euro-
pean pilgrimage last year.
They are accompanied by
two members of the USY
national staff.

martyrdom of a Beth Jacob

Holocaust. The program also

some 20 teen-age members
of the ORT Youth Fellow•
ship will help establish a
unique exhibit portraying the
development of agricultural
equipment from the time of
the Bible to the most ultra-
modern devices in the 20th

The group — the first ever
to visit Israel under the
sponsorship of Women's
American ORT — will spend
a month setting up the ex-
hibit at a site adjacent to
the ORT school in Ein Harod
and will work under the
guidance of ORT-Israel per-
sonnel.

The foreign language de-
partment of Oak Park High
School will offer a class in
Hebrew for students
grades 9-12 starting Monday.
The class will meet 8 a.m.-
12:30 p.m. for six weeks
through Aug. 10 and will
give one unit of foreign lan-
guage credit transferable to
any high school and accepted
in all colleges and universi-
ties.
