It recently organized a world- wide protest in the case of a Chinese journalist, Yuyitung, who was arrested in the Philippines and who spoke at the assembly here. Kux was elect- ed president of the Jewish Center at the recent meeting, of the Center board of direc- tors. Past President N. Brewster Broder was named chairman of the executive committee. The board also elected Hugh Greenberg, George Friedman, Martin E. Citrin president of the American Jewish Committee and the men's chapter of ORT (Or- ganization for Rehabilitation Through Training). He has been a member of the Jew- ish Welfare Federation's board of governors and an Allied Jewish Campaign di- vision chairman. Kux and his wife Barbara have two children, Mrs. Nancy Reitman of California and Bill. The major goal for the im- mediate future, according to Kux, is to bring the planned Drake Rd.
