A "Jubilee Book" ("Festschrift") honoring Zalman
Shazar was presented to the retiring president of Israel
by Dr. Abraham I. Katsh, right, president of Dropsie Uni-
versity, Philadelphia, at ceremonies recently held in the
sidential mansion in Jerusalem. The "Jubilee Book," a
it enterprise between Dropsie and the World Jewish
Bible Society, includes articles in Shazar's honor written
by 45 world-renowned scholars and the ceremonies were in
connection with the First World Jewish Bible Congress
meeting in Jerusalem. Seated beside Dr. Katsh are: Dr. Sol-
amon Zeitlin, (left), distinguished professor of post-Biblical
literature and institutions at Dro p sie, who was co-editor of
the "Jubilee Book" with David Ben-Gurion, former prime

Moshe Dayan on New Medal

A sale of commemorative
medals of Israel's heroes has
begun with the first issue, a
sterling silver Moshe Dayan
medal, issued by the Friends
of Israel's Disabled Veter-
ans, a committee of the Na-
tional Council of Young Is-
rael.
The Moshe Dayan medal
will yield a frost-finish sculp-
ture on a mirror-like back-
ground. The medal measures
1 1/2 inches in diameter and is
encased in a lucite table-top
stand.
