This was reported by mili- tary industry chiefs who said that 50 countries purchase the products of the Israeli military industry. The details were given at a preview of the military in- dustry pavilion at Israel's economic and industrial ex- hibition. Israel's industrial and economic progress through the 25 years of state- hood are being exhibited at the pavilion. Israel's "Gabriel" missile is on public display for the first time at the stand of the Israeli aircraft industry, side by side with the civilian and military versions of the Arava planes and the Com- modore jet executive plane. Marine radar and airfield radar installations also are displayed. A spokesman for the Is- raeli aircraft industry has denied French allegations that Israel is producing jet engines for the Mirage inter- ceptors. e P°ra Gelbard, 56, who came to this country with his parents as a child, is also acting min- ister of commerce and agri- culture until permanent ap- pointments are made. It is believed that his first step will be to tighten cur- rency controls as a step in combating the skyrocketing inflation. Israel Health Minister Vic- tor Shemtov represented the Israeli government at in- augural ceremonies. Well-informed Jewish circles here have expressed satis- faction with President Cam- pora's inaugural address. They noted that his remark, "We are conscious of plIral- ism in Argentine society," was the first statement of its kind ever made by a president of Argentina. The circles also have call- ed attention to the fact that while Campora expressed sympathy for national liber- ation movements in many parts of the world, including Vietnam, he omitted the Middle East. It is believed in Jewish circles that the omission was deliberate to avoid hurting the feelings of one side or another in that region. Hebrew U.
