Beth Moses to Pay Tribute to Its Rabbi for Decade of Service

Rabbi A. Irving Schnipper,
whose 10 years with Cong.

brated at a dinner June 3 at
the synagogue, will be hon-
ored for his devotion to the
congregation and his service
to the community.
Rabbi Schnipper, a native
of Philadelphia, was ordained
at Yes hi v a University and
was in the first graduating
class of Yeshiva's Wurzeiler
School of Social Work, from
which he holds a masters
degree. Prior to his Beth
Moses pulpit, he was rabbi
of three congregations named
Beth El: one in Rutherford,
N.J.; one in Patchogue, L.I.;
and the third in Pittsburgh.
From 1953 to 1955, he was

and was awarded the Com-

plary service as assistant
