LOS ANGELES (JTA) —
The United Jewish Welfare
Fund-Israel Emergency Fund
reach the $12,500,000 mark
as it prepared to end its sec-
ond full month and to wel-

new ambassador to the
United States.
In Chicago the Jewish
United Fund has reached a
total of $10,786,883, $1,116,-
000 more than was raised by
the same date in 19'72.

tion which he has introduced
