74 years of service at home in Detroit

25 years of help to the people of Israel

Across the street and across the seas...

During the past 25 years, the Detroit Jewish commu-
nity, through its support of the United Jewish Appeal,
has aided in the rescue and resettlement of 1,500,000
men, women, and children who sought refuge and
freedom in Israel.

Our continuing service to people, both in Israel dur-
ing the initial 25 years of her statehood and here at
home, with sixteen local agencies and twice as
many regional and national organizations in the
fields of Jewish culture and education, health and
welfare, and community relations, is made possible
by contributions to the Allied Jewish Campaign-
Israel Emergency Fund.
