Yeshiva U. to Test
for Tay-Sachs
NEW YORK—The nation's
first all-school Tay-Sachs
testing program will be held
at Yeshiva University Thurs-
day.
At its recent Israel 25th anniversary dinner-dance,
Shaarit Haplaytah concluded a successful drive for Magen
David Adorn. In addition to sponsoring a fully equipped
ambulance, the organization of Holocaust survivors raised
funds to help equip the Ashdod first aid station. Total con-
tributions neared $12,000. "For displaying exceptional loyal-
ty and dedication to the humanitarian goals of MDA" and
"in grateful recognition of untiring efforts on behalf of the
people of Israel," four members, seated from left, received
the Mission of Mercy Award: Oscar Bakalar, Eric Rose-
now, Felix Rosenzweig and Norman Adelsberg. Standing
